Do you have boards in your secure container? Has to be on the top level, when you first open the secure.  The script will move the boards from the secure to your beetle.

check16, CAREFULLY read through the first post of the heartwood quester HERE (http://www.scriptuo.com/smf/index.php?topic=69.msg137#msg137).

You are doing a bunch of thing wrong, first of which is you need to work from a home secure container; it doesn't work from the bank.  Please go through the list and CHECK OFF the items.

Yes. Uo legends shard

It may be impossible for you to make this script work on your freeshard.  That's why we only support OSI.  Sorry.

Well, we have successfully worked through getting this quester running on other freeshards but it takes a bit of dedication from the user to work through the "issues".  Oh well... :)

SIGH OMGGGGG.heh

i get everythign to run correctly, just when it goes to pick pick the bow quest it doesnt choose it. just keeps flipping through them...hmm how do i fix this?
Title: Re: Script Heartwood
Post by: TrailMyx on November 20, 2008, 07:48:31 PM
Well, you might need to check back through some of the pre-requisites.  Things like your video being 32-bits, and windows game play.  Other than that, it's up to the freeshard to position things correctly and use the expected font.  What freeshard are you playing anyhow?

im playing an OSI shard...is that the problem?
Title: Re: Script Heartwood
Post by: TrailMyx on November 20, 2008, 08:00:10 PM
Nope, should run find on an OSI shard; 100s of people are doing it at the moment.  :)

Make sure you are matching what the pre-requisites state, i.e. 32-bit video, windowed mode, etc.  Also you have to run as a dedicated system, i.e. you can't cover the window with Firefox or internet explorer because it requires the quest gump to be visible.

AHHHH it was the 32-video...i remember i never ran that cause i thought/still kinda think it lags me..nott really sure...but wonder if you knew about that myth. anywho everything works...FINALLY and two hours later than i wanted to go to bed!!!! :) thanks again.

Well, I can certainly understand the performance issue and that 16 bits may work faster.  It's all a matter of your video card.  After I upgraded my CPU to what I've got now, I don't worry about such things.  ;)  Anyhow, glad you got it working.  I won't give you a hard time for not going through the check list.  (however, that's what the Elite corps is for... heheh.  Enjoy!)

i always leave  boards in my secure even though i keep 50k boards on my beetle that way i can stay in one spot and not have to waste time  going back and forth

How do you get 50 k boards on your beetle? Is this some kind of steroid version of the blue beetle or some other beetle im not familiar with?

It is not a steroid version of a beetle.  It is an actual bug to overload so don't keep taming in hopes to find one.  I can't even remember where i learned the bug but I don't want to post it and betray someone if it was private.  It works just like horde minions if that helps.

is the heartwood script posted herebetter then the old craftmatic one?
Title: Re: Script Heartwood
Post by: TrailMyx on February 07, 2009, 12:57:34 PM
It depends on your point of view.  Craftmatic has a better interface and can do more of the quests.  But the SUOQuester here is capable of railing in and out of Heartwood, banking, filling your beetle and is pretty much 24/7 unattended.  Also, our quester is substantially faster than Craftmatic and now is more stable.  The original Sorrowmaster script was funky at best, however we've re-written about 98% of it.  It's silky smooth and fast as hell now.

Most people who use Craftmatic like this quester better.  I'm a bit partial, of course.  But Cerveza has done side/side comparisons and it really wasn't any competition.  If you just want kits/saws, the SUOQuester is the one...

how exactly does the script know whether or not a kit drops? im paranoid that it doesnt work untill i actually see the script put a kit into my loot bag

very good script tho, took like 2 mins to setup and is running very fast. glad i found this

The heartwood check part of the script is built-in, so it doesn't rely on either BMEval or the CLAw.  Rest easy, my friend.  ;)

haha i will

i was just nervous because im an EUO newbie and wasnt sure if i need to hit play on these other scripts or just only open up the Quester, run it, and thats that

That's part of why we built it into the script.  Most people don't give a thin squat about the other loot.  We have the basics covered.
