Title: Recall farming.

If you had a recall farming script, that could go in and out of dungeons and teleporters, would follow multiple rails, and farm until certain criteria were met at each location and then continue on to the next location after railing out of said farming spots and banking, what would you farm?  And what options would you consider important?  Be specific. :)

It wouldn't be monster or template specific guys.  You'd be able to use most any type of character probly.  Mages with spells/evs, or dexers.  But probly not tamers...  Too much effort for not enough return for a farmer of this sort.

I guess I don't understand, then Twinkle McNugget.  You looking for a list of monsters and locations, or a list of resources we want to farm?

I'm just looking for ideas.  I have the basic script written.  It will allow you to setup and save any number of rails to farming spots.  Even inside caves/dungeons.  Then when it gets to the spot, it will farm.  When it's killed a set number of spawn type that you select, it leaves, and recalls to the next spot.  You just have to match the runes with the spot in the list.  Atm, the max is set to the max amount of runes in a book.  And the rail spots are interchangeable, so you can move them up and down the list, just in case your runes dont match, you don't have to change your book around, you just move the rail up or down to match the runebook.  And you can use atm either a mage or a sammy with it.  It has bank support, and checks weight, will rail out, bank, recall back, continue to farm until amount of specific monster type is killed.  Just looking for good ideas to flesh it out.  I was thinking rail spot "action" buttons.  Like farm multiple rail points.  Rail offshoots?  So you rail into a dungeon, create a rail, then create a rail "offshoot" that you can assign loop values to.  So if you run the rail twice, it will go down the offshoot once.  Just use your imagination and imagine good ideas.  That's what I'm lookin for. :)

It could.  But that's one extra step of complexity I'm not sure I want to do.  With recalling there's really no reason to do gates.  Unless you're farming from a bank and walking to your spot.  I know a few places where that would be nice, cause you can't recall into/out of them.  We'll see.

I was thinking Ilshenar farming.  There are a number of items I'd like to farm there.  I've hardcoded a few rails, but yours sounded better...

Well everything I design from this point on will have farming with my multi waypoint follower in mind.  And so far what I've got is a step above in usefullness.  I'm considering making it into a farmer/quester...  I've got an idea in mind that will make it usefull for farming and questing.  I'm just trying to iron out details.

Booyah - you said quester and it clicked:

1 - Hag Quest
2 - Escort questing

More as I think of 'em.

EDIT:  In case you're wondering, Hag Quest farms up to level 5 T-maps and Sacrifice virtue.  NPC Escorting is Compassion virtue.
