Alright. I've managed to acquire a 90% Fire damage radiant scimitar. I'm thinking it will be a good Miasma weapon.
My just-created spreadsheet tells me I can put this on it:
Scorpion Slayer
SSI 30
HML 44
HSL 44
HLD 36
Thoughts?
EDIT: Oh hell, it's not exceptional. Assuming it's even worth it to continue, which do I drop? I could push HLD to 16 or 18, depending on rounding.

Non-exceptional weapons are NOT a bad thing. We had a discussion about them before someplace around here.
You lose 50 imbue points, but gain the ability to put 5 attributes on the weapon. Usually your stuck with damage increase, but in this case you get away without it.
DI is good, but if you have enough DI in other spots you don't need it so much.
I'd go HLA and have M&S glasses for my HLD.

Forgot to mention: It comes with HLD.

Miasma is not a world beater. I would throw Hit Mana Leech (HML), Swing Speed Increase (SSI) and Hit Lightning....that is all!
Those 15-20 you get from a hit spell start adding up. ;)

Did I mention Scorpion Slayer? :o

Well durr.
Really, though? No Hit Stamina Leech? I figured I'd want all the SSI bonus from stamina that I could get.
With the HLD restriction, I could go to:
Scorpion Slayer
HML 46
Hit Lightning 44
SSI 30
HLD 2

That's what I would do...
SSI>Stamina Leech. Miasma doesn't deliver such big blows that is redlines your stamina.
Test it out and post your results...
I think there is more value in the added damage (Hit Lightning) over the course of farming for a long period of time.

as an odd take on things, have you considered hit area instead? it seems to do greater damage.
