When shard transferring with a red... the pack animals you have following you stay in the "transfer crate" until you chose to have them appear, right?
So you don't just pop into Buc's Den with 5 packy's following you around.... ?
-
Correct.
Are you xferring?
-
I'm thinking about it ;)
I could have a lot of fun with my little red sniper.
-
I can also confirm that packies stay hidden away in the transfer crate. It is transfering them to the red initially that is the scary part.
I just xfered a red 3 weeks ago
-
Shortly (next couple weeks) .. ill be xfering from pac to Catskills and back again. If anyone needs anything carried eitherway let me know ill probably have lots of space.
-
I'll just gate some packy's in on another account and transfer them to my Red, should I go ahead with this :)
-
With what? Transferring a red to where from where?
-
Transferring a RED Toon is no different then transferring a BLUE Toon. When you arrive at your destination, your Toon will be hidden and all of the items you have transferred, including pack animals will be inside the 'Transfer Crate'. When you open the transfer crate, the items from your Bank Box get automatically populated. You can select to have your backpack populated as well. Your pack animals don't just appear next to you when the transfer is complete, they stay in the crate. In fact, you take them out one at a time. You can take a pack animal out of the crate and then take it where you want it to go and if you wish, log off and get the rest later. You have seven days to unpack the crate from its initial opening. You select what you want to take out of the crate, by right clicking on it and select 'unpack'.

Thank you oracle for this wonderful little write-up for those of us who have not ever done a transfer.
-
Nice, now I know if I do transfer, I'll be safe :)
-
Please be sure to tell me where and when this Red will be making its transfer departure. And what template he is. And what his lowest resistance is. And tell me when you're not looking.
:P

"Spawn Killer" or "Sniper" cause of all the kill shot armor ignores. ;)
