I have just turned my necro mage into a scribe mystic mage just to try out. i was wondering what order of mystic spells hit the hardest. I'm talking like evil omen and paralyze, flame strike and evil omen. would it be like spell plague and bombard? just curious. also do you need med on this character, I took it off to put scribe on, but seem to be running out of mana real fast with max lower mana cost and mana regen.

I tried my mystic, weaving mage without med for a couple days to give it a try.. Hated it!
I only pvm with the character, so I'm not sure if it is as needed for pvp, but for what I do med is very important.
Using some fairly heavily loaded skill jewels, I was able to fit med in there quite easily to round out my template. It looks like such:
120 Magery
120 Med
120 Eval
120 Mystic
120 Weaving
100 Focus
100 Scribe
Almost never run out of mana running this setup. Having a couple MR2 pieces on the suit helps also obviously.

PvP suits benefit from the faction armor and items. PvM suits could benefit as well if you knew someone with some faction mules.
-
TC easy way to play with spells for what suits your template.
Scribe is most powerful I've found if you have a buddy, two mystic scribe mages can lay down a nasty dump if you sync it right.
Focus for me was sufficient for PVP, never bothered with med on my mystic mage for pvp, but for PVM you'll absolutely want med.
If you're running out of mana, maybe you're using too many wasted spells.. The key to this temp as I mentioned is the dump.. Try to weaken em a bit, then if you can drop em down a few HP, or use mobs/pots to your advantage to knock em down a little, then you go big and dump.

Kalaka, it sounds like your experience with mystic mages is outside of long fights. On shards like ATL, there are maybe 10-15 players who can seriously play without med in a big field fight.

I think u need 120 focus for better spells its like eval for mage.

120 Weaving is kinda overkill, no?
Would definitely raise Focus to 120.
-
WoD from 120 spellweaving is good in pvm I would drop medi for 120 focus
-
It's strictly a PvM toon now. So 120 skill, level 6, ~150 SDI (after empowerment and tree form) WoD's are frikking insane. :) And it really angers people..lol I can't tell you how many times people have simply left from fighting Navery when they see that I'm a weaver. I get top looting rights all the time it seems.
I've thought about dropping med to 110 and raising focus up to the same level. But I haven't really seen the need to do so.

ur RC wont get dispelled? +more focus more dmg+ 110 focus is only 1 stamina regen. with 120 focus and 100 medi u would lose 1 passive mana reg.
-
Yeah very small tradeoff for the increase in healing, damage, and RC ability.

Sounds like that's what I'll be doing here in a bit then. :)
