Title: So i uninstalled UO

I uninstalled uo and found out afterwards I don;t have the disk to reinstall.  Went to UO.com to dl the client there, dl's to the end then i get a error.  Tried twice.  Tried fileplanet for a client dl and same thing, get a error.  Anyother ideas where i can dl a client?  Will hit best buy to see if i can find the cd anywhere.

Have you tried a reboot or download on another computer. I had your issue once before and then reliazed I just needed to reboot that the error was being created on my end. After rebooting and refreshing my ip it downloaded fine and installed fine.

Totally remove the old EA directories (backup first!)

Run Ccleaner and remove all the crap from your machine then run the ccleaner registry cleaner, If its windows 7 or vista make sure you are running as administrater

Yeah that's weird. I've just recently reinstalled the whole thing messing with my art patcher, never had a problem.

I'd do what was said already.. what's the problem, downloading the client, or updating it? If it's just the downloading of it, and all else fails... maybe I could find another spot to upload.

Thanks. that worked.  Ran ccleaner then restarted.  Installed fine and updated fine, took all night but its done.  Looking forward to pwning some newbs tonight :)

I had exact same problem... seems like if you have an old  version (in my case unpatchable) already installed the new installer pops a crc error and says the download was corrupted and refuses to install.

I always forget to replace my tree stump hack etc before i patch and it messes up every thing!
