So I finally ran out of ingots (never in my life thought that would happen!)

Anyway set up another miner in addition to my guy that normally mines.

Went to get an upgrade book so I can mine normal gems and had a terrible thought.

Right now with no upgrade my guy mines lots of crystal Blackrock, Fire, Blue, Perfect's etc

if I upgrade will I get less of these while getting the common ones!

Anybody ever test this (like you perhaps Cerveza)?

I haven't noticed any decrease in the amount of "special" gems when mining common gems - I just get a lot more gems in general.

You won't get less of the Mining Gems.  You will just get more of the common ones like rubies, emeralds, sapphires, etc.  It does help if you are an "Elf" as Elfs see better in the dark and get a lot more of the Mining and common gems than a Human does.

Just put the container it drops the blackrock into as a secured trash barrel.. will auto delete the stuff for you when it gets to max.

yeah if u mine normal gems just check first that it wont dump diamonds in trash too the script im using dumps them in blkrock bag.

Mine seperates the diamonds from the Blackrock Gim so you should be good if you do that...

ooh u fixed it i must have old one and seems that someone else at europa has too the rat place at stygian abyss is full of blackrock and few diamonds in the mix

so you can  get normal gems from mining too?  where have I been!  can I get them in fel, it's the only place I mine at the moment till I ruin the POF market on my shard.

I can mine 2 million stone of ore and be out of it in a day... what's taking you guys so long?

There are an awful lot of use for ingots.

BODs
Weapon Crafting
Residue generation
etc
