Title: CHorse Intro.
Post by: CHorse on February 06, 2011, 07:55:38 PM
Hello Everyone,

I just recently came back to UO after a 3+ year break. I'm originally from Great Lakes and transplanted to Origin shard which I consider my home now. I left UO because I became bored with the game but now it seems there are so many changes that it has gained my interest again. My background is prior Air force (retired for 3 yrs.). I'm currently in a partnership that fabricates electronic components. I'll be selling out my position over the next few months which leaves me plenty of time to game. I'm hoping to learn about scripting and at least be dangerous enough to write a few myself. I know absolutely nothing about scripts or the terminology but I think with some persistence I can overcome my ignorance. Well anyways if anyone has any questions for me then please by all means ask me, no matter how big or small.

Welcome to SUO and Welcome back to UO.

Thanks for your service in the Armed Forces and for helping make the world a safer place.  8)

There's all kinds of things to do and challenges in the game. I really don't understand it when people say they're bored with the game.

I play way more than I should and I still don't find the time to do all the things I want.

They've implemented alot of good changes as far as I'm concerned. More work to be done but they've made some progress in making some things worthwhile doing like Treasure Hunting and Fishing.
