If you are saying "WTF is Cthulhu?!?!" then for SHAME on you and your non-tasty soul.  Then here's a LINKY (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu) for you.

I suggest "At the Mountains of Maddness" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/At_the_Mountains_of_Madness) as a great starter.

I know the The Call of Ktulu off Metallica's Ride The Lightning Album. It's Eerie in the beginning with a beautiful melody, but a great metal instrumental. Now I want to go hear it. :o

But no doubt Metallica got their inspiration from reading some of H.P Lovecraft.
