LOL! I was reading this while on a conference call and started laughing out loud on December 28th and realized my phone wasn't muted ROFL.

Sounds very much like Vermont.

Sounds like my thoughts when I visited Vermont a few years ago.  Great in early fall, but way way cold/snowy otherwise.

The funny part is right about this time of the winter we're all cursing and planning on moving South but if we don't move immediately we're screwed because we get through winter then mud season then black fly season then summer hits and it's so goddamn beautiful and peaceful that we forget about our vow to get the hell out. Then comes apple picking, foliage, and harvest festivals with pumpkins and corn mazes and the blinders are thrust over the eyes of common sense entirely! Then Winter hits again.
