hello all, i'm starting back up on uo (freeshards) after a long break, didn't expect to come back but this game always manages to drag me back somehow. started playing about 10 years ago. thought i had an account here but it's been so long i must've been mistaken. anyway, i'm interested to see what has developed on here over the years, glad to have found this place again.    8)

It is always nice to see more returning UO addicts.  Hope you can get that intro redone and look forward to seeing you on the boards.

sure thing. I started playing on Chesapeake about 10 years ago (it terrifies me to think of that aol 56k, does anyone still remember that connecting sound? lol), mostly played as a dexxer (battle axes were my weapon of choice) and a thief. i ended up quitting when AOS came out, and found freeshards about a year later, took long breaks from the game but like i said, here I am again. i still enjoy running around on a thief, but being a dexxer just isn't the same as it was back when tons of them were running around. i don't have any scripting experience so unfortunately i can't contribute as much to the community as others, but i'll do my best.

I never much cared for the idea of free shards, but UO is a drug in many forms!
