Title: [UO Herald News] Happy 14th Birthday UO
Post by: Spaz Ferret on September 26, 2011, 01:00:04 PM
Happy 14th Birthday UO

We would like to thank all of our dedicated players that have played UO over the years to make it what it is today.    In the past 14 years we have had over 2.6 million players enter Britannia, we have brought together a lot of good friends and even several marriages, and we look forward to helping make even more.

In the upcoming months we are working on redoing the art to a high rez art, the first part of this will be the terrain in the next publish, so keep your eyes open for a new look.
Your UO Team

I sometimes wonder if I need to give the EC a second chance?

So does this mean the tiles will change for resource scripts?

Oh great!  Perhaps the 2D client can have the same washed-out, contrast-free terrain as the "enhanced" client! I can hardly wait!!

That would be cool I think... Unless they make it look like the enhanced client, which would suck a lot imo.
Although I'm a little skeptic about uo releases, especially after this post hehe:

dont worry the Valentines 2005 gifts will b patched and released any year now.

Guess we should expect this update in the next decade or so? :D
