Hi, my name is oijerf (pronounced "Patrick"),

I used to play UO back in the 90's, just when T2A came out. Back then there wasn't such a thing like an internet flatrate - you can guess what that means. Fortunately playing UO has become a little cheaper since then.
Like most people, I became bored with the game after I had reached a certain point, and dropped out. After a few years of trying other online games, I still recalled UO as being somehow special, and got pretty thrilled when I discovered all those free shards emerging.
I played around a lot with the tools that are available now (razor, easyuo), and I think they really add a new dimension to the game.
I'm actually pretty impressed with the tremendous effort people still put into developing such things. I tried that Isis client once, and that one had me pretty much floored. Although that client is not really useable, the time and skill some people invest in developing these kind of things is amazing. But as I'm having my share in playing around with this stuff, I can relate to this. I sometimes refer to it as "fun". But please don't tell anybody.
