Hi,

I'm primarily an Atlantic player returning after a long layoff.  Hopefully I'll stick around this time, but it all depends on the new wife :D

I'm a big lover of automation and scripting; although I'm not a programmer by trade, I always found the puzzle solving to be challenging.

Hoping to start some work on OEUO and explore the possibilities.

Hrm...partial completion?  What features would be missing?

After a couple of days back, I actually find myself a bit overwhelmed by OpenEUO.  Couple of things are a bit daunting:

1) Seems like I need to learn a 'programming' lang rather than a 'scripting' lang.
2) Lack of standard user-tested libraries
3) Lack of tutuorials for non-programmers.

I am in the IT field, but I'm a infrastructure/dba guy and not a coder...any advice?

OK I did find some tutorials, and I'm attempting to copypasta some sections from other folks.  Will hopefully post my first script soon!
