Had an interesting discussion with my son last night.

It is based on the belief that there IS extraterrestrial life outside our solar system, and it is advanced to the point that interstellar travel is possible.

What would an advanced race think if they saw us? What if they could watch the abridged version of say... 4000 years, what would their opinion of the human race be?

Imagine yourself looking at the history of mankind, what would your thoughts be on human beings?

I would not land on earth without a whole arsenal of weapons. Mankind is extremely violent! lol

I like the topic and questions, its very intriguing. I think I will ask my kids those same questions and see what they come up with.

We agree that we both hope Earth avoids detection.

Our history is pretty embarrassing. A more advanced race might decide to judge us... no good for us if that were to happen.

Our only saving grace would be that the human race is very unpredictable under the right circumstances and also that we tend to stick together and put our sqaubles aside when facing larger than life circumstances.
