Good morning all! Name is Soupboy. I have been away from UO for over 3 years. In that time played a little WoW, a little LOTRO, and found myself thinking, "Man, these games suck!" LOL They're all fun at first, but after you have enough gold to get anything you want in game, the diversity is lacking to keep you entertained.
So, back to UO I come crawling. Spent most of my time on GL's during my previous tenure, playing for a couple years. Now playing on a freeserver, but loving it just as much as when I left. Must stop the shiny baubles of high graphic content from distracting me from the incredible content that UO has to offer.
In my personal life, 47 yr old guy who never wanted to really grow up completely. I am an automotive Engineer in RL, and formerly a part time programmer dabbling in basic, pascal, JS and ASP who hopes to give scripting a shot here. Been a while since I even wrote an if/then conditional statement, but I hope to learn a little about it here, with the help from you folks who pour so much in for so little return! Hope to see you on the forums - and thanks in advance for building up what I see here so far!
