Lol fishing, i ran that script and drove my boat off the edge of the world with it. So many white fishing nets hehe...
Never heard of Rift before but i don't really stay up to date on games. Although i'm anxiously awaiting "Shards" or "Shards Online", whatever they gonna call it. See what they make out of it.

Sometimes doing some manual labour helps you appreciate this community even more!!!
Thx for the welcome TM & SolidSnake ;)

Damn can't believe it's been that long ago. Last time it seems i never made the move from trial to paying subscription.
But today i can say that i'm a paying player so hope i'll be around longer ;)

Managed to get a lumberjack to 95 today (by hand!!!) lol. Made 500k first day so not bad (found a vendor who was buying wooden boards at 16gp each hehe).

IRL still PHP programming for the web, same girlfriend (pff hehe) and playing CIV 5 now and then.

Glad to see you still holding down the fort!

I still yearn for those first years of uo. Since then they never managed to make a game with the same type of atmosphere and charm as in UO (you can dispute this, im curious). I remember the panic i experienced when leaving the guard zone for the first time lol. Me and my pickaxe in Britain's mountain pass (west of city) chopping away when suddenly an ogre makes his appearence and all the feebled mining souls start running away in panic lol...

Welcome to the site :)

Hey,

Its notsopearlsnomore... did i change my name or did someone do this because of my long abscense? :)

I see that a lot of the veterans are still here. How are you guys doing? Me? I'm doing good. Still together with my girl and taking her to Paris in two weeks (im from belgium so its not that far). Im working a lot lately as a php/drupal developer for about a year now. My main task is building websites and setting up social media campaigns. Its a fun job, i get to do what i like doing.

Anyways, downloading UO as im writing this and i'm mostly curious about all the changes UO has undergone while i was away. I think the last time i played was when they released the gargoyle race...

Good to see this site again!

I missed you guys... its Pearls :) Hows it going Trailmyx, C2, 12x and everyone else... Downloading the trial while im writing this, figured i'd give uo another go. Impressed with the site, grown quite a bit since i left. What has it been? 2 years? How i've been? Pretty good actually, back in school, learning for web developer, xhtml css javascript php drupal etc etc :) Wonder if i could start writing my own stuff now cos in the good ole days i only debugged and abused the ones u guys wrote hehehe... I so loved that fishing script from TM :))) Hope u guys are doing good and i'll be visiting the site again from now on :) Damn im excited lol. Never figured UO would give me this much joy already without even having the client installed!
