Hi everyone. My name is Blake. I started playing UO the DAY the carebear land was released. I started my UO career on Napa Valley with a tamer named Devon Ratsbane. I promptly learned where Delucia was and not long after I had a booming horse sales business going. You must understand that this was before the ridiculousness of things costing millions and hundreds of millions of gold. The time when you  could lose your vanquishing katana to the red that just attacked you so you better damn well be good enough to kill him first or run and hide. I remember the adrenaline rush I got from my first PvP kill. At that time Bucs Den was the "PvP zone" and that where you went to get some action!! While I don't mind it so much now with what the gear costs, I HATED the insurance system to begin with. I ignored my Napa account and played Seige exclusively until I stopped playing around 2004. Now here we are, 10 years later in 2014. We have SoA's and SoT's. Artifacts coming our of Shame and Wrong. You can't get *bleep* without spending a million or more, but from whatI can see, with a new and improved Sampire (I built one of the first Sampire's btw) you can find those rare and, am I saying this right, "Clean" items? I have to admit that the SoT's are the POO!!! I got myself a mythic and a couple SoT's and I'll be damned if I don't FINALLY, after 20 years, have a GM TAMER!! LOL. My rage quit over the Enhanced Client seems like a distant memory when I realize that this afternoon my Greater Dragon will bond and I can begin his training. Maybe I'll finally get my first Doom Artifact, (now that they are pretty sill compared to a reforged, imbued, powdered and gently fornicated piece of armor) See!!! I'm learning the new lingo already. Ok ok ok.... I have bored you enough with my Ima Newbie stories (Cor Por Cor Por). Have a great day and I really am looking forward to seeing you all around the moongate.
