Updates in this release of Publish 123 include, A New Britannian Holiday – Spritelight New Wooden Weapons PvP Balance Changes Harrower Update, including the new Spoils of War Cleanup Britannia Update Ultima Store Items – Transmogrification Neck Slot Quality of Life & Bug Fixes For full details, check out the latest patch notes. Recent Server Performance Issues
2/20/2026 Greetings, Recently the UO team investigated reports of degraded server performance as it relates to our new global event, “Kindlehart”. We took steps to identify several areas where an inordinate amount of server resources were being allocated to elements of the encounter and corrected those. We’ve read your feedback regarding some of these optimizations, especially world boss loot, and will be addressing those concerns. Thank you to all those who submitted bug reports and feedback regarding that issue. Kindlehart Tempest Optimizations
2/18/2026 Greetings, We want to thank everyone for their patience while we investigated and attempted to resolve performance issues related to the Kindlehart Tempest Encounter primarily affecting Atlantic. This event has proven to be especially popular and as such we’ve made the following optimizations: Reduced corpse loot for World Bosses that have an alternative loot drop scheme Reduced visual effects on Kindlehart Infused monsters Optimized World Boss AIs We will continue to monitor performance and make adjustments accordingly.
