New member introductions / Trying to Redeem Myself Before I get Gonged ...
« on: December 13, 2018, 10:17:43 AM »
I was trying to reply to my first post and after I tried to post a long redemption speech it told me that I wasn't allowed to reply to anything so here goes again ...
I started playing UO at the suggestion of a friend who was playing, this was back around 2003 or so. Started on Great Lakes where I ran into great people as a "noob" ... in fact I recall someone giving me my first real house, a quaint property near the mountains of Trinsic. Eventually I ventured to Legends, joined a guild and really enjoyed playing. Around 2008 or so I had to stop playing.
Fast forward to 2014, I ventured back to UO ... this time with a new account and again ran into wonderful folks who helped me out and again played until 2016 when I couldn't keep up with my work demands and play demands, plus some friends had left. So again I took a break and just recently came back for the 3rd time (a couple months ago). I was again welcomed warmly back into the UO community. It is a special place and also a very small world.
I hope that I have redeemed myself and that you will welcome me into this site the same way folks do on UO.
Thanks again, Cookie Bear
