Stealth Client / Re: Wait to loot a "turned" corpse
« on: November 09, 2020, 08:40:02 AM »
Hey guy!

I'm wondering if someone knows how to wait for a corpse to turn "public" and then loot it.

I've been trying to figure it out, but my brain power lacks in that regards.

Would be lovely if someone had any tips or tricks.

Best regards,

You would need to know when it died, put that into an array with a timer event to wait 2 minutes for it to go public.

OH ok! I didn't know there was a word requirement lol

THat is because we want the "Best of the Best of the Best"! haha. No word requirement, just substance requirement.  Thanks for your thoughtful and well done post.  Restricted Status lifted!

Sometimes a blank happens for some people. We have not figured out why some can read it and some cannot.  It just happens. We figured it had to do something with language or something when the post occured.  Sometimes, you just need someone who can read it to repost it for everyone to read.

It probably requires TM to remove the IP based 'ban', if he is willing/decides to go that route.

As for the repair deed, that would not be too difficult.
check for tool
 - make tool if needed (get tool material, tinker tool - a common logic sequence for craft based scripts)
check for blank scroll
use tool
select repair
target blank scroll
rinse and repeat.

I do not have one, but the last time I needed a craft script for something, I modified The Ghost's Factory script. It has a lot of the routines needed to craft something already there, so making a new selection wasn't too hard.

Depending on your scripting experience, it would not be a large project. We can definitely help with questions, testing, push it along...

The reason the old rule of VPNs was because if someone spams from that VPN address, anyone who uses that VPN address will also be hit with a ban on that IP.  Since we try our hardest to keep the site free of unwanted spam posts, we find it best to ban IP addresses from which they come so that the said Bot cannot keep coming.  We have never actively searched for someone using a VPN, because in reality we don't care. It is just that we hate those viagra ads. So for everyone, if you find that you have been banned and you haven't posted anything then it is more than likely that your current IP address is banned :)

Stealth scripts / Re: [C#, ScriptSDK] EggFarmer
« on: August 27, 2020, 02:54:13 PM »
Chips ahoy,

EggFarmer latest git
Windows 10

I'm new to this, but I'm fairly certain I got everything in place and I'm still getting the error:
Error, Packet parsed incorrectly! Last Method id is 12

I used VS2019 to build ScriptSDK.dll
I added ScriptSDK.dll reference to EggFarmer. Built without error
I launch stealth with admin privs.
Character gets logged in, I load the built exe from file and when I push play is when the error pops up.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a code problem with current stealth version?

Thank you for all your work.

Most recent update to 10.8.2 broke some packet parsing in ScriptSDK. I haven't had a chance to look to see what it is yet. I know Maxwell was working on it for his C# wrapper. So once he updates i can see the difference and see whether i can apply it to scriptsdk.

A Very Warm Welcome!

Our only requirement to be part of this site is for new members to write a good and thoughfull introduction.

Before we will unrestrict you - you need to tell us a lot more!

Please greatly expand your introduction and tell us about yourself and your UO life.

Look at the sticked examples if you need insight.
I think you will find the effort required to write a four or five paragraphs will pay off with this community!

(Use a translator program if you feel you can not write in english.)

Misc. Scripts / Re: TrailMyx's Chat Monitor (for Alexandria)
« on: July 30, 2020, 12:13:30 PM »
I ran this version for several hours just interacting with the chat channel. I liked it. It does a nice job to filter all the extraneous journal messages and gives a nice interface.

Thanks for working on and sharing this.

Very cool, thanks for testing it.  I found it useful to gather chat perhaps when you're bank sitting, and want to easily go back to just the chat that has long since disappeared from the journal log.  It's probably not something you'd want to run during hunting or some other intensive times.

I used to use your CHat Monitor to take notes for Guild Meetings.  Made it much more simple when it was all in game chat in taking all the notes.

I was thinking about it, but looking for a way to do directly from the stealth client, but I think it will not be possible with graphical client

Only other way would be to write your own script that does that feature.
