Due to feedback regarding the dates we will extend the Shadowlords and the Treasures of Tokuno until the end of this month.

I figured they were going to receive negative press and cave in. But they brought it upon themselves because the date they originally announced was at the end of the month.

Actually it was probably a PR number they did on the players. "Let's call the Event short then turn around and extend the events back to what we originally stated. This way we can appear to the players as though we are doing everything within the realm of possible to keep players happy and meet their demands. We can even document it  so it appears as though we're providing excellent customer service and listening to the players in case we ever need backtrack and show proof in the future."

What's that called? I believe their is a professional termed coined for the use of such tactics.

Not a sandwich.

BS perhaps....
