Hey everyone, I'm known by Rob in real life, but generally Ornlu in game. I've been playing UO since the betas way back when... can't even remember if it was 96 or 97 but I was HOOKED. I banged out UO for hours a day, years on end. It's truly one of the only games I've never grown tired of - because...Of the ability to script macros thanks to programs like Injection / razor / easyUO and the much more simplistic Autoit / easymacros apps that preceded them.
I love automation, it's part of my job now and one of the most entertaining aspects of UO. Every time I would complete an action in game I would think "Can this be automated?" and the answer was almost always yes.
Though I enjoyed building simple mining scripts, radars, etc... I marvel at some of the amazingly complex and polished scripts produced by other coders. I can't wait to be a part of this community and hope I can contribute as much as I receive. Though given the wealth of information here, I am doubtful it will be possible despite my efforts.
It's great to meet everyone,
Happy UOin
-Rob

Also, I currently play on a T2A era free-shard. Call me old fashioned but I loved the simplicity of UO up to UO:R. For a long time I played on Sphere servers. And althought they were buggy, they offered one of my favorite PvP styles - casting on the run. Sure it made anything other than magery useless but the battles were so fun. About 2 years back I tried playing OSI for a bit but found myself lost. The game has changed so much, and it amazes me that it is as alive and kicking as it ever was... UO truly is the greatest game I've ever played, and even If I take more breaks I hope to come back to it time and time again when I need a vacation into a perfect RP environment.
I found this site sort of round about, when I was looking for some older scripts I used with easyUO. Couldn't locate them on that site, but found this community and was so excited to see how lively it was.
