Hey there everyone,
Im a 26 year old IT pro, who much prefers his games in 2d than in this new 3d look! Well, thats not totally true, but I love Ultima Online and I've played it for most of my life when you think about it! Happy 15th Anniversary for the game BTW. Anyway, UO has always been a game that has been important to me for a variety of reasons. Not only for it's play system, but for the fact that macroing became such an interesting part of the game. I really don't look at it as cheating in a certain way, the beauty of scripting is too complex to be ignored and it's important to respect how creative you can be with the scripts that you develop. I originally registered on this website on 2009 and never posted, I'm a bit anti-social even online at times and I've taken my fair share of breaks from UO as I imagine many have. I'm now returning and have been back for a few months, I realize there are other scripting communities and other communities in general for the game that exist, but they are sad examples compared to what this site still is. I was glad to click in to this sub-forum and see many people writing introductions on their return. UO has a lot more to offer than many modern MMOs today, thats not a very positive sign for the gaming community but it shows the quality that exists within UO. Rather than just having access to scripts to download and know little about, I see this forum as more of a place for me to hone my abilities with scripts that I write. (They have helped in my professional careers too from the things I have learned from a game, when you consider that, scripting is AMAZING. I sound like a doof :>)
