Hello everyone,
I started playing Ultima Online way back in 1997. I always loved the Ultima series. I shared the game with a good friend the first month or two. We were hooked. After that we had to get our own. We hung out in Occlo and Britain in the early days. Played a tamer a lot back then but did a little of everything. Loved to craft, hunt and fish.
Then scripting came around that took the mundane chores and automated them. It made a great game greater. I started writing scripts for every little mundane thing. It wasn't long before I had a little library going.
Back around 2006 life got in the way of playing so I had to leave the realm knowing I would return someday. About a year ago I returned, man oh man, have things changed. Some good, some bad but overall still a great game. I can say I'm hooked again.
My wife started playing, which is nice. She likes to craft mostly, but I'm working on getting her to hunt more. I did write her a little fishing script that she likes. Be right back, my dog in bugging me to feed her...
I've been able to write my own scripts for the most part but I think it's time to join a community to share and collaborate. A friend told me about ScriptUO a little while ago and here I am.
