Nope! I know, everyone asked for more incentives/new things for factions, so lets do away with everything that is already been in place for a very long time and attempt to replace it with something that's adding new coded instances into old areas that already have their own code. (Great use of the few developers)

If they were trying to bump up pvp, they should of just of added things to the arena like letting you set skills and pick pre made suits that only last the duration of the fight, That would of allowed new players to actually participate in pvp to some extent that doesn't involve yew gate fighting on test center,  but the arena system wasn't very well built either.

If their goal was attracting new players, that was the wrong way to do it. Power Hour, increasing the skill gain buff in New Haven to 90(Adding new quest lines with new items for training at 70 and 90 skill (Maybe full spell books!?!?! No way) Actual Tutorials for basic things in the game. Npc's that can repair gear in exchange for gold right in new haven up to 75% durability and losing 1 point for using it (For those dead servers where you can't find players), and the list goes on and on and on.

Honestly, if they are going to try and hijack ideas from newer games like Rift/Final Fantasy, they may as well take the good ones that are easier to code.

Ooo. Lets keep going on ideas that would of been easier and way more productive for the developers,
How about an item similar to the shard shields, one per account not a vet reward, lets you pick one shard shield token a month to any server. Call it the Uo Postal System Expansion for 60$.

+Side: People quickly stop crying about shard shields and dead servers
-Side: You lose profit from your transfer Tokens, but pick up some money for the expansion. its pricey, but anyone can do the math on that.

Some Artifact/Cleanup Suits that are actually comparable to a mid level imbued suit. Purchasable for gold (Oh hey a gold sink That might actually work unlike the casino!?)

I can Go on and on, but I think just those ideas are already a trump for the work they are doing now.

A more Realistic Fix to the Randomized Materials Than the Covetous Maps. Maybe Have a miner Npc Hand out Maps Each day for the materials like bods with a 24 hour timer. Scale it based on the material you choose (8 dc, 7 shadow, 6 copper, 5 bronze, 4 gold, 3 agapite, 2 verite, 1 valorite) Same Concept for Wood.

I have an idea, maybe they could get around to having a support community that is directly tied to the devs and staffing (GM, Councilors, etc). That way issues can be dealt with and approached in a manner that isn't limited to being in the game itself. They would do good by dropping that communist party called stratics and developing an official forums. You literally cannot get any help over at the stratics place because the forum mods who are unrelated to Broadsword support at all will lock/delete anything that they don't like, while dishing out warnings and bans.

Considering the # of accounts that use Euo is more than 75% of the Player Base, you would think they would have Ears and a voice on the Scripting Forums.

I think you underestimate the % by a fair margin.
