lets see here... the old lady said while in a Walmart we should be these games , as she held 4 UO 8th editions. think they where 20 bucks or something. I always working dint even have a computer at home. now don't get me wrong i gamed but after hours at work because mostly of a T1 line back then. Well we bought a comp a few months later and get everything up and going when she said hey we need to download UO and use these 4 accounts... Was not in to it all. was like no way all you do is sit there a chat in game to other people. Well she was returning and getting back whit some of her old UO friends. now she only played siege and said all other shards are like playing the game on easy mode. So i started on the hard shard and dint even know about insurance for my first 3 years in the game. but skill gaining on siege and no real gold is needed if you can resource your suits. we used to sell gold for game time codes. Yup my 10 year younger wife showed me champs and what the reds would be doing.
She had got me hooked on making and first bandaids and then later smashing mummy's for the bandaids. The whole shear sheep thing she had me doing while taming training and after that she showed me how to do the sting, to bolts, and cut it up for aids. SO as you might know the gank in siege is real. " My suit is gone, MY WHOLE SUIT IS GONE!!" you know other people help you out and still you cant replace some items but it was mostly cursed items on my macer and after a spawn someone saw me in the star and that knew where i lived and was at the house with two more for back up. thought i would get a 1v1 , I thought wrong.
So after a week and me going out and doing stuff she said you do know that those other shards have insurance and you would not of lost your suit there, so you know. Well i went to a few Proto shards she called it... and found many more rude type of players and was able to mark off a few shards before i even got skilled up. I was on legends for little over a years made a mage/nerco there and met lots of nice people. Some of them had invited me over to Pacific into GOL guild. LOVED THAT GUILD!! they where always doing something had a web site and had timed events to hunt or resource gathering mostly stayed on mage till I remade the macer, another macer. I was falling for the dexer template. My first temp i was Learning was a NOx Poison mage. Now I play all types of templets really for what ever the kill or boss, I've made 5 Samps and love to play a mystic mages. but far as now i mostly play tamers.
