New Spells books !!

What is everyone's take on the new spell books?  You can now create Magebooks, NecroBooks, and MysticBooks with mods and slayers on them.  So does this make it now when I want to wither and I have a necro slayer book that it does double or triple damage?  Just some ideas.  I wanted to through out there and get opinions on to see what everyone thought about and also see if anyone had info on them?

When you used the words 'I here'.  This coming from what?  Is it old info?  Maybe a misunderstanding or mistake on the fact you are applying info from the slayer mods of the original magery books? Why would they make books with mods for other spell casting classes and only make them work for magery?  Just some questions I have in my head and posting them for you to think about?

I think it was posted here, that just the slayer mods are only working for magery spells.  Maybe I read it on stratics.  I know I read it somewhere because I thought it was stupid when I read it.

my buddy tested repond necro with wither at rat spawn and did not get massive bonuses to the spell.  it did work for mage.  this was about 3-4 weeks ago.  they are broken for at least wither.
