Hi Gang-
I've just returned to UO after a 5 year absence and currently play on Pacific.
My favorite character at the moment in my Sampire. Wow, I wish I knew about the Sampire template long ago, but then again it wasn't around for much of my time with the game. I Originally started playing in 1999. Soon after I began playing, I got my kids hooked and then my wife. We had a great time as a family working/playing the game together. Then we drifted on to other games but none held me like UO so I'm back and loving it. Kids are now away in college and I'm actively working on the wife to come back and play... wish me luck, she stubborn!
I have a computer programming background of sorts (well versed in Visual Basic and some C++) but the skills are getting rusty. I'm looking forward to creating and tinkering with scripts and enjoying UO in a new way. And, I'm looking forward to joining your community!
Oh, one more thing... In the early days of Sphere I set up our own Free UO server for my kids and their friends to play in. Hugely time consuming, but great fun.
