Names Syn, I've been playing uo for roughly 10 years off and on. and about every other mmo you can think of.
I think UO was the second game I ever played online, (diablo 1 being the first)
I remember staring at all the different skills and planning out my first char for when the game was finally released in the uk.
Dial up! I'm back on dial up for gods sake. Ok well its non cable broadband (ADSL) but its still dial up to me. Still it beats having my dad shout at me for being online for serveral hours (days) when we first got the BT anytime dial up. cutting off every 2 damn hours.
I remember every 2 hours id Smack my pc and rush to log back in. Till it exploded... literally exploded, sparks and smoke and little bits of the power supply shooting out the back of the case, right into my brothers face.
My uo life is pretty much a big long blurr;
Random memories,
Three of us selling everything we cuold find and borrowing money from people left and right for our first 200k for a small tower.
Getting repeatedly killed on my smith while training up (i GMed swords while training smithy up from the constant attacks from my two guildies who i constantly supplied with gear)
GMing smith then promptly making two full suits of plate (on verite and one val for my two griefing guildies) (they still have these10 years later)
Turning my smith red by accident...
Getting my account banned telling someone to make love to a broom handle.
Having to start all over again! (This is why my account is only 9 year
)
Chicken wars
Factions in minax fort with more dragons on one screen than ive ever seen since
the black dye tubs! Runes with no runebook.
Neon hair dye program, and not being able to legitimatly afford 500k for hair.
Putting everything i owned on a vendor for 5k each when i quit.
Regretting that when i came back a few months later.

Macro mining for days straight with no sight of a gm. Going to work for a 2 hour shift getting a 24 hour bann.

Struggling to kill an ettin on my first day! then getting my ass saved by some random dude and thinking he was probably 7xgm and amazing.
I think i could go on all day.
Just because it deserves a mention, DAOC is amazing
Scripting wise, I am fail, I once made a script that took advantage of a bug that created unmarked runes and sold them back to a vendor.... Its was probably the least profitable use of time ever.
I've spent alot of time at working using AUTO IT so im thinking i might take a bash at uo scripts again as soon as i can think of soemthing thats not already been done.
