From Drachs? during that time period...you must remember the PvP! guild then... ;)

Welcome to the sight

I was on Drach until Lake Austin opened up.  I sure do remember a guild called PvP on Drach.  Haven't really logged on there much.

Awesome I will, I have been reading tons across the various boards that are out there, but hoping to find a community that I fit with as I can't stand some of the bashing that had taking place on some of the other groups I have been a member to when I played last.

I have a GD now, but really have no interest in playing it, I am really enjoying the sampire.  Building a suit has been an adventure though, not as easy as it sounds even with imbueing available.

Pretty sure Niera is vulnerable to Undead Slayers.

Sampire weapons i would suggest if you dont have 1.25 ss then add enough ssi to reash the ss cap.

Radiant scimitar for whirlwind when you get more then a couple spawn on you the MS will not handle.
Broadsword for AI or Ornate Axe for just massive burst damage.

Bload oath is tough when she cast it unless you have 120 resist and will make it tough to work through it.

Mana Leech, Stam Leech and DI, HLA and HLD are the most critical if you have Mace and Shield glasses then you get a boost of the HLD.

I play on an OSI shard to the info maybe different for freehsards.

I have found since return to UO from a 3 year break and decided upon a Sampire as my character of choice now.  If you don't have imbueing then you will need to burn thru many many charges on runics to get what you need.  I find template wise that I really need 120 resist, majority of my deaths come from mana drains and paras and combine that with the blood oaths from necro using mobs it pretty much sucks without it.

I know with a sampire your going to want  a weapon with whirlwind for when you get totally swamped my spawn but your also going to want a slow heavy hitting weapon with AI.

Most weapons unless your running something like 180 dex will require SSI , mana leech, stamina leech and Damage Increase.....the higher the percentage the better.

Armor is going to depend on if you elf, human or garg?

Most Sampire tend to go elf for the woodland armor that can be created or enhanced with heartwood and get added HCI or DCI on armor pieces.  With a whammy I would suggest just making it from leather.  Going Sampire you would want to focus on All 70s resist then HPI,MI,SI,LMC on your armor pieces.  While as a Whammy you are going to focus on HPI, LMC, MR, MI SI.   But like I said without imbueing it will take alot of runic charges to get the suit you want.

You goal would be to hit your caps  in the following area:
DCI  - 45
HCI  - 45
DI    - 200
HPI  - 25
LMC - 40

Again these are OSI caps

Hi guys,

Started playing UO about 10 years ago pre-AOS on Drachenfels.  Friend of mine that was in the military was playing at the time and was stationed in Europe hence the reason I live on the East Coast of the US and started on a German Server.  Since those first few years I have played on Siege and was one of the first settlers of Lake Austin, where I am still a current member.  Since my return it has been sort of difficult to find an active community on Lake Austin and UO as a whole.  Started solely as a crafter and played the role of a merchant for a long time, got into a little pvm in the past but really getting into it now that I have found a class I really enjoy hunting with(Sampire).  Ya I have a tamer but god it used to get so boring hitting the "peace"macro and then the "all kill" macro.  I have really enjoyed the additions to fishing with the High Seas expansion and now enjoy the adventures and fishing.  WOuld love I think to try a some champ spawns and some pvp at some point in the near future, kinda of funny if you think about it now I have always lived in fel, but hunted and gathered solely in tram.   Hoping this a fun, active and friendly community and look forward to the adventures that I hope will develop from the friendships made here.
