Wanted to get a jump on this next Quest as the Halloween Quest was driving me batty (get it Halloween Joke) due tot he amount of clicking and Crystals that needed to be turned in. 

UOGuide has started an info thread.  I went on TC1 to hunt down a Turkey and they are actually challenging:

Search across the land for Giant Turkeys. The lands east and west of Britain are popular. The giant turkeys will be found roaming around harmlessly. However, once attacked, they are very difficult to kill and can pack a punch themselves. They may use a Bleed Attack, teleport unreachable characters next to them and have a giant turkey gobble which will slow even mounted characters to walking speed making escape difficult. They can rip through pets and dispel summons as well.

Defeating one will yield an Ornithologist's Map in the attacking character's backpack leading to a turkey nest. Double-click the map to read it and head to the location depicted on the map, similar to how Treasure Hunters seek treasure chests from treasure maps.

Last week, I found a new series that I can now be obsessed with.  The head alien from the series "V" Morena Baccarin as Anna, is HOT.  She won me over in more ways then one, plus she has that come hither smile, and that alluring triple blink!   

On another note, I was curious to see what the controversary was from reading in the newspapers: As the original miniseries was inspired by the novel It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis and has been called "a modern retelling of how the Nazis rose to power in Germany," the re-imagined series has been accused of being an allegory of the presidency of Barack Obama. In his review of the show, Troy Patterson of Slate points out that bloggers and journalists had noticed parallels between the show's premise and the Barack Obama administration, and writes that "if the show is to have the symbolic import that we expect from a science-fiction story, this is the only possible way to read V as a coherent text." Lisa de Moraes of The Washington Post noted in her review that the fact the series was debuting on the one-year anniversary of Obama's election "was not lost on some ... TV critics" and also remarked that the use of phrases present in the series (such as "hope", "change", and "Universal Health Care" being offered by the Visitors) made it seem as though "Lou Dobbs had taken over the network."

Regardless, Anna (Morena Baccarin) is added to my list of women to watch, along with Jennifer Love Hewitt and some others...

Calling all Miners,

I want to ask each of you for some basic pointers regarding Mining in Ter Mur.  Currently, I marked 32 runes around the mountain areas inside or close to the Ter Mur City Limits.  That way I dont have to deal with unruly or hungry beasts 'out in the wild'.  A lot of the areas I marked state, You cannot see that location", but using 12x Mining Script, it searches around the recall spot and tries all of the available spots before it moves on.  Too bad Cyberpope's Mining Radar does not work in Ter Mur. 

Has anyone found any Caves worthy of Mining? 
What areas do you look for when you are scoping out spots to mine?
What frequencies are you getting for 'Crystalline Blackrock'?
Any strategies, hints, or tips you have discovered while Mining in Ter Mur?

I am not sure if others are bothered by this or if it is just me, but our Fearless Leader and Mentor has not upgraded to 'Stygian Abyss'.  How can he help field questions and give us answers to the new skills including Throwing, Mysticism, and Imbuing?  How can he know what it is like to enter the Underworld and stare face-to-face with an evil Gray Goblin Mage?  How can he know the thrill and excitement of meeting up with Medusa, but be equipped and prepared to meet her head on with the ability to reflect her 'stare' with a fresh set of 'Gorgon Lenses' and pummel her with an awesome imbued 'Repond Slayer'?  He has not even had an Audience with the new Gargoyle Queen or seen the beautiful sites of Ter Mur...!  He has not even met up with Tyball's Shadow to be awarded the keys to enter the expansive Abyss to discover the wonders that await him there.  Many, many, many others things as well.

I would like to gift him with a Stygian Abyss Upgrade (or donate it to ScriptUO in general) and was hoping that at least 5 others would help me to defray the $30 cost ($5.00 each) for ScriptUO to be able to use this upgrade for information and research purposes.  Perhaps there is an account that the Admins can use together and go on Test Center to experiment and find out the new and wondorous things awaiting to be discovered.

Is this something that we can do?  Who would like to contribute?  Please PM me and let me know if this is something that you would like to be a part of...
 

For those of you having problems with the Puzzle Room inside the Mansion in the Primeval Lich Spawn area, someone was kind enough to make us a YouTube Video explaining how to solve it.  (Some people just have too much time on their hands I guess  )

What would be even better is to have a Script made that clicks the levers based on what the responses are...Perhaps the Puzzle Room Scripters have a new challenge?

If you love discovering new and different things in the game, then you have to try out a couple of new Quests.   You will need to use your Fisherman or find a friend hat is a Fisherman to fix up a Red Herring and a Mud Puppy (these are two new 'Big Fish' in the Sygian Abyss.

Something Fishy - Found in the Underworld, the Something Fishy quest is given by the grey goblin Barreraak.

Scraping the Bottom - Found in the Underworld, the Scraping the Bottom quest is given by the green goblin Xenrr.

One gives you a cool ring which polymorphs you into a 'Gray Goblin' and the other gives you a Fishing Pole that Polymorphs you into a 'Green Goblin'.  These two should work just like the 'Orc Mask' and the Goblins should not attack you, but currently it does not change their aggressiveness towards you...

Eager to gather more items and SOT's, my character took a stroll over to "The Underworld" and grabbed the compass off the desk before transversing the dangerous hallway.  After a couple of minutes dodging boulders, lightning, and poisonous gas; feeling like Indiana Jones in his last movie, I walked into the Puzzle Board Room.   As I walked in, I noticed a new addition hanging on the wall.  The addition is a sign.  The sign read, "Puzzle Room Closed". 

This same thing happened on the Japanese Shards last week.  They caught what was going on and quickly closed the room down.  The US Office thank goodness is a little bit slower...

Today I was reading through some of the posts and saw Toptwo's Avatar!   At first, I was curious and kept watching it.   I was thinking to myself, "Wow, that Avatar sure is violent!"  Then I kept watching it in detail of what exactly was happening in it, so much was going on.  I then read the comment under the Avatar and suddenly it came together.  First, I a smile came to my face and then I started laughing...!  I sometimes feel the same way and I sure can relate to his predicament!
