UOMaddogs' Script Library / Re: Maddog's Jhelom Farm Taming Trainer

Hello. I have a noob question. Does this script work in Trammel?
I am at the Jhelom Farm Pen. I killed an animal. I started the script.
I keep getting the message "Cannot find starting point. Please go to the Jhelom Pens and press play."
I was in Jhelom and went to the top transporter to get to the pens. Maybe I'm in the wrong place? There are a bunch of
bulls and animals here. heh.  Thank you and sorry for such a noob question.

FYI, I, too, experienced the program crashing after several minutes of running.

Cool, thanks. In the future though we cannot test or use our scripts (unless EasyUO is updated) correct?

I see. So to test my script I'm writing in SUO I need to run it using Easy UO, but Easy UO is no longer supported, so I can't test my script, correct?

Scripting Chat / Very Basic Question - How to get Started
« on: October 15, 2010, 07:22:01 PM »
Hello everyone!

I am brand new to the site. It looks great! Thank you to everyone who has/is contributing to the site! I hope to contribute what little I can soon.

I have a very basic question. I'm sure this is covered somewhere, but I can't seem to find the correct post.

To get started, I think I need to do the following:
1) download the latest version of ScriptUO (239 I believe is the latest
2) Download a script I'd like to run
3) Login to UO classic and run the script

Hopefully these are the correct steps. Now for my basic question, where do I download everything?
I downloaded everything to my desktop, but I know I need to put it somewhere else. Do I move it to my UO Program file folder?  Thank you and sorry if this has been answered a million times already.

Hello. I am new to openeuo. I have used the easy uo site for years and found it wasn't so "easy". I am not much of a programmer, I only know a few basic things, but I want to learn more. I think your ScriptUO site sounds great and was a long time coming. I'm sure everyone appreciates everyone's efforts here. I know I will!

About me? Well, not much to tell. I started playing online games as a kid on my dial up, 300 baud modem. I forget the text based game, but it was the best game I ever played and had so much fun I was hooked. I then played Gemstone IV (It was Gemstone II at the time) about 12 years ago. That was another great game (it still is). I then played UO for a few years, then to World of Warcraft, and am now back to UO (just recently).

As you can see most of my free time is spent playing these online games, so I don't have a girl friend to give you her measurements, sorry!

I look forward to hearing from you soon, and hope to contribute to this site in any way I can.

Thank you.
