Best to try a different bank location.  Some bankers aren't human, so that will confuse the script.  But you do need to be relatively close to them so they can "hear" you yell BANK.

Are you using this on Broadsword or a freeshard?

I play broadsword. But I guess the problem was this new patch launched on november 16th, probably, no? No script seems to be working.

Ah, so I have been having some trouble running a few scripts. Like the Trails`autoloot. It starts perfectly but it does not open the corpses. Same with Multi skill trainer, it sets up fine, but seems it is broken. So I guess the issue was this new patch they launched on november 16th. Before that I had no problem with another script i was running, but now, it sets up fine, but does not run well.

Did you download the rails hw_trinket.txt and hw_bowcraft.txt to the same directory as the rail engine and your HW quester?

If so, you might not be close enough to the Heartwood sparkle entrance.  If you're playing on a freeshard, the entrance to Heartwood might be different and you might not be able to use this script without some extra modification.

That was what was missing. Thank you!

Now, I was trying to setup, but I chose the bank option, and it says ˜cannot locate banker". I am inside the bank and next to the banker.

On line 88 of the HW quester, just change the line from this:

Code: easyuo
  1. set %railsubs tool_railengine30k.txt
  2.

to this

Code: easyuo
  1. set %railsubs tool_railengine30l.txt
  2.

Then just make sure the file "tool_railengine30l.txt" is located in your HW directory.

Did as you suggested, but now the message is "rail not found" :(

Hey Trail,

I downloaded the file. However, now I receive the following message: "Cannot locate tool_railengine30k.txt"

I put all .txt files in the same place as well as easyuo.exe.

Any thoughts?

Requirements:
Please check these off before you request help on the forum

  • [  ] - You are running on OSI This script most likely will not work on your Freeshard
  • [  ] - Tamed and bonded beetle (bonded not really required, but nice when beetle dies)
  • [  ] - Raw Ribs if you would like your beetle fed at the beginning of script execution.
  • [  ] - Runebook with at least 3 runes marked. (Home secure, heartwood, logout) Does not support bank secure!!
  • [  ] - Lootbag in your main pack.  Please make sure this is a different container (big bag) than the bags dropped by the quest reward bag.  You run the risk of trashing your loot otherwise.
  • [  ] - Loot bag in your home secure MAIN LEVEL (when working from home secure)
  • [  ] - Runebook in your main pack
  • [  ] - All resources (boards, ingots, tinkering tools, carpentry tools) placed in the main level of your secure container and not in a bag.
  • [  ] - Tinkering skill sufficent to make tinker tools and crafting tools
  • [  ] - No tinkering?, then enough tinker tools and crafting tools in your home secure (tinker tools and joining planes, lots...)
  • [  ] - KEEP UO screen uncovered. This is so the OCR can see the quest (you can still use powersaver, but do NOT use a screensaver, or coverup the UO window)
  • [  ] - Rail engine requires that you not move the mouse during rail runs. Otherwise this will mess up your movement while riding a loaded beetle. Dedicate your computer to running this script by either just leaving it alone or running the UO session in a VM (virtual machine instance)
  • [  ] - 32-bit video card setup, will not function at 16-bits or 8-bits.
  • [  ] - Make sure you have placed all files (quester, looter, rail engine, rails, evaluator) in the same directory as your EasyUO executable. <-- Important!!
  • [  ] - Do not run this quester in full screen mode or the OCR functions will not work properly.
  • [  ] - Do not run UO Assist or Razor with this script!!
  • [  ] - Be sure to have your rune marked SOUTH a few steps of the gate, otherwise you may accidentally enter the portal before the rail engine is ready. (thanks marina)
  • [  ] - Be sure you remember to download the rail engine from the link supplied below
  • [  ] - Be sure you do not have Always Run selected.  You will need to walk with a loaded beetle.

A big thanks to Bad_Maniac and Machine for some of their work included in this script.

Please post your comments/questions HERE.  Please do not PM me

Please note that you will also have to download the Rail Engine with the rest of the files attached.

One post required to download scripts here at ScriptUO!

Good day, everyone!

Seems I`m having a little issue running this scrip with regards to "rail engine". When I click the link provided with rail engine says ˜page not found". Does it work for you?

Many thanks!

Misc. Scripts / Re: The Taming Appraiser
« on: January 28, 2017, 08:54:17 AM »
Still working reasonably.
What I found was if the animal lore gump is off screen (my screen resolution on the laptop is smaller than the desktop) then the values come up with 0's or "---" depending. I adjusted the gump location so it was on screen (I forced it to 0,0) and it worked well.

Next I adjusted it to pick up the lore gump location and pass that to the kalocr.txt function. There is a timing issue that sometimes it still misses reading the gump, but it worked well enough to pull the information.

On my copy, I added code to see if the hit points were <= max / 2. This assumes it is already tamed. Worked on the cu sidhes I was evaluating.

could u please show me a print screen of this script with the gump location adjustment. Im having the same problem.

Thanks!

I just figured the Animal Lore Gump location out. But seems I cannot appraise animal status. Here is my problem.

Im using Animal Appraiser scrip version 51L. Last KalsOCR version 5.8. My screen resolution is 32bits.

I have both scripts in my EUO directory.

Anyone have any ideas?

To get it working again with the new bod button layout post pub 95... Find

Code: [Select]
;======= sub bodclickpos =======
sub bodclickpos
  str mid #contsize 5 3
  set #result #strres - 54
return #result
;======= end sub =======

and change the
Code: [Select]
set #result #strres - 54to
Code: [Select]
 set #result #strres - 74
The button locations were moved to add in the new "fill from bag" feature but since this script wasn't written to use that it's easier just to click the other option, the above should do that. Happy crafting.

AWESOME SCRIPT MAN!   ;)

I just need to remove archery as an option...

You'll need to locate your save file and delete it.  Sounds like you are trying to change your weapon.  If you locate the LoadSetup sub (around line 1010) and add "set %archeryweapon N/A" like so:

Code: [Select]
sub LoadSetup
  set #LPC 1000
  menu set EUOStatus Loading setup....
  menu get EUOEdit12
  gosub AddUnderscore #MENURES
  set %setupfile #RESULT
  gosub TM_FileSystem_LoadFile NULL %setupfile

  set %archeryweapon N/A ; <-- add this

  menu Combo Select EUOComboOffence %offencetype

Then you can re-run the setup with your new weapon.  Be sure to remove this line when you re-run the script.

Worked perfectly!

Thank You!

Btw, great script!

Never mind, it wasn't working because my suit wasn't repaired!

You're welcome!  ;)

There's another issue though. Im an archer and Ive run the guided setup. I selected the weapon I wanted to use (fey bow from medusa) and it says "cannot find the weapon".

I try to re-run guided setup in order to change the selected weapon but Im not able to. It keeps saying "cannot find the weapon", even when I reopen the acript.

Any idea?

Thx!

Officially this is an OSI script.  Since IDs are different from freeshard to freeshard, items like bows can be troublesome.  Freeshards work much better if you use magery.  You should also be using the 30 version.

I tried to use the script but the status is always Bank Run... and nothing happens, even pressing other buttons in the chart.

Never mind, it wasn't working because my suit wasn't repaired!
