UO Reference Information / Kaspersky Virus Scanner
« on: January 03, 2012, 07:13:01 AM »
Just wanted to post this up. Had a friend just run into this same issue.

Quote from: Orngrimm
Let me explain why EUO can (falsly) be detected as trojan:
EUO reads and manipulates values in the ram-space of another programm (UO). Thats how EUO works. HAS to work.
Unfortunately thats also how some trojans work... So the problem is not a direct match, but a detected behaviour of a program. Different antivirs have different names like Bloodhound, Synoptic search, and the like...

The way how euo works cannot be changed. The way how antivirs also look for some behavioral signs wont be changed.
So there were, are and will be some cases of such false positives. It is up to you if you trust cheffe. We have a tonload of users. I think if there is really something fishy, we wouldnt have some but tousands of such detections.

Edit:
http://docs.kaspersky-labs.com/english/kav2012_en.pdf tells you on page 51 (HOW TO RESTORE A FILE THAT HAS BEEN DELETED
OR DISINFECTED BY THE APPLICATION):
To restore a file that has been deleted or disinfected by the application:
1. Open the main application window.
2. In the lower part of the window, select the Quarantine section.
3. On the Storage tab, select the required file from the list and click the Restore button.

My other post is titled Working on a pixel scan sub which might be a little deceiving. The truth is that I'm looking for a script that will do an Armor Ignore special, then do Lightning Strikes until the 3 second timer is up, then go back to Armor Ignore.

The only "rule" for the script is that Armor Ignore special is done at intervals > 3 seconds to avoid the double mana penalty.

So the script would go something like:

1 Toggle Armor Ignore Special on
2 swings
3 HIT so Armor Ignore Special icon goes off
4 Set 3 second timer
5 check timer, if < 3 seconds continue, if > 3 seconds goto 1
6 Toggle Lightning Strike on
7 swings
8 goto 5

Jokes! / The Athiest
« on: December 29, 2011, 08:39:59 AM »
An atheist was walking through the woods.
'What majestic trees'!
'What powerful rivers'!
'What beautiful animals'!
He said to himself.

As he was walking alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him.
He turned to look. He saw a 7-foot grizzly bear charge towards him..
He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder & saw that the bear was closing in on him.

He looked over his shoulder again, & the bear was even closer. He tripped & fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up but saw t hat the bear was right on top of him, reaching for him with his left paw & raising his right paw to strike him.
At that instant the Atheist cried out, 'Oh my God!'

Time Stopped.
The bear froze.
The forest was silent.

As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky. 'You deny my existence for all these years, teach others I don't exist and even credit creation to cosmic accident.' 'Do you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as a believer'?

The atheist looked directly into the light, 'It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian now, but perhaps you could make the BEAR a Christian'?
The light went out. The sounds of the forest resumed. And the bear dropped his right paw, brought both paws together, bowed his head & spoke:

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

.
.
"Lord bless this food, which I am about to receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord, Amen

Television/Movies / Dexter Season Finale
« on: December 19, 2011, 09:09:35 AM »
After last night's finale, it would appear that there is a bit of a problem between the Lt and the Serial Killer.

How will Deb deal with her Br-Lover (you saw that term here first!) killing a serial killer that she's stressed out over finding?

I kind of hope they wrap things up next season. The shows that write themselves out seem to have a much better last season then those that just get cut. Big Love had a solid finish that tied things up. And the Soprano's had a finish tha

So what's yer thoughts? Keep Dexter going somehow, or write the finish?

Scripting Chat / Working on a pixel scan sub
« on: December 15, 2011, 05:19:05 AM »
I want to execute a primary weapon move every 3 seconds so I don't get the penalty for doing them back to back.

I'll use pixel scanning to determine the condition of the icon...

Code: [Select]
gosub set_pixel 1 ArmorIgnore 35 0

sub set_pixel
  event macro %3 %4
display ok Move mouse to your %2 Button.$You have 2 seconds
  wait 2s
  savePix #cursorX #cursorY %1
  wait 5
display ok Pixel saved as # %1 $Do NOT move that icon!
return

That sets cmppix 1 to the active Armor Ignore icon.

What I want to do is keep checking that, amongst other things, and when it toggles to False (the icon is no longer red) set a 3 second timer. During this 3 second timer I don't want to recheck the icon at all. At the end of the 3 second timer I want to activate Armor Ignore again, which is easy enough. During that 3 second period the rest of the script must continue.

I'm thinking I'll need a "pixel checker" in the main loop with a timer attached.

Code: [Select]
set %timer_primary ( #sCnt2 + 60 )

gosub check_primary

sub check_primary
cmppix 1 f ; icon is NOT active
  {
  if %timer_primary > #sCnt2
    return
  event macro 35 0
  set %timer_primary ( #sCnt2 + 60 )
  wait 5
  }
return

I'm coffee lagged and can't determine if that is what I'm looking for? It seems like it.... Check the pixel, if it's NOT lit up that means I just armor ignored.

Anyways, need a fresh set of eyes on this, I'm not even sure I'm in the ballpark here.

Ultimate would be to include a different cmppix while waiting for the armor ignore ;) , like 3 lightning strikes - 1 armor ignore pattern.

Off Topic / Airsoft: Operation Dark Harvest II
« on: November 15, 2011, 05:37:29 AM »
Pic of my son a couple weeks ago at the local Airsoft park. They have 35 acres divided into 4 short and 2 long range fields.

This was from Operation Dark Harvest II. He's got the Cybergun AK47 Spetsnaz. We've since painted the clear foregrip parts black to match the gun.

He got his new gun for his birthday, KWA SR7 DEVGRU (pic below). His new helmet, vest and red dot sights should be in tomorrow.

So now he always wants me to go out with him. I get the old gun lol. I think I'll pick up one of those hunter's chairs - the three legged stools hunter's pack around with them. "I'll be back here, holler if you want cover fire". Funny story from last time we both went out. I found a great spot in the back. Tree had a "V" in it with sandbags stacked up between the two trunks. One trunk made a perfect chair and the sandbags were at the perfect height to rest my elbow with the AK. I was so far back I was just in front of the people from my team that were "out" from being hit. There's a crowd of guys behind me and this kid comes out, he says to me "You should move up", I say to him "Nah thanks kid, I'm good here", everyone behind me laughs. :)

My son in the grey hoodie with the AK
