Looks like it can benefit by setting the #LPC up a bit.  If you don't set it to anything, it's set to 20.  Try bumping it up to 100.  Set this:


right before the repeat at line 55.

Also the "wait 2s" after your exevent dropc are probably a bit too long.  You can probably drop this to "wait 20" which is 1 second.

Just add the keyword "Resolve".  That should be enough since I'm not sure much of anything else has that name.

I had sent you a pm, anyway I will try to use set %use_history #FALSE and see if it helps. I will keep you posted, thanks a lot for your help. I realized noone else is having the issue as I did not see anyone replied in the post or because noone is using long enough to notice the issue?

The last thing that was really an issue that people had was the history thing, so I added that variable so that people could turn off that function.  I know quite a few people still use the CLAw, but less people use EasyUO anymore now that there are faster/better tools out there.

Anyhow, I'll test a bit this weekend running the script looting my MIBs and see if I see a drift in loot times.

How many rules in total do you have?  Also, are you running any other scripts in parallel with the looter? 

I have seen sometime when loot time increases as run time also increases, but not nearly what you're experiencing.

The real only thing that we have control over is the size of the variables that are accumulated over runtime.  You might want to take a snapshot of your vardump (Tools/VarDump) when you first start the script, and then take one when you start experiencing slowness.  Then compare the sizes (in bytes or lines) of the 2. 

It's been a while since I did an analysis like this.  Feel free to PM me your results, but don't post the actual vardumps because there's account specific information.

Also, there's an older version still posted.  You might want to try that and see if it works differently.

The Wiki page for this has a great summary of present and past winners.  Frankly, I'm shocked that Elite wasn't inducted this year.  That's still one of my all time favorites.  I still can't believe all the game functionality you got for just 48K-64K 8-bit machines.  And the NES port of it is amazing.  There's a couple Youtube deep dives on the technology used to bring that game to the NES - worth the watch.

Heh, it does it to me too!  Probably 1/100 of the time.  I've tried to figure out why it does this, but since it happens so rarely, I haven't been able to locate the issue.  I've been able to minimize the issue by making sure I'm not fiddling around with the computer while the script is running or to run the script in a VM.

As far as blocking during recall, that's a real thing so you need to be careful that you place your bank runes at a place that's not gonna have a bunch of NPCs milling about while still being within earshot of the banker when you yell for his/her services.
