You can use a shield and I believe it can have balance as well.

Just found this topic and the info is great!
I have never really done pvp and want to get into it more. And as a gargoyle I really wasnt sure how to start but I have a much better idea now.

Just started UO again and playing on PandoraUO can't wait to test some scripts out.

Hey my name is Streghorn I am the token gargoyle for the NRNS guild on pandorauo. I have a huge fan of PvM but would like to get more into PvP aswell. I enjoy testing/running/debugging scripts thought I lack the creativity and time to write my own. As stated below some may consider that to make me a "leech". But I will offer plenty of comments and advice on your scripts
. I have played UO off and on since the game came out and there hasn't been a better mmo since.
If there is anything I can do to help the community let me know otherwise everyone should just join my server and farm champs with me as I am in much need of power scrolls
