I used Tecmo's Find Item ID which can be located here......

http://www.easyuo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=528

as stated i tried dbl clicking the NPC and also dragging his bar off to read the info in the sidebar of easyuo but I just couldn't get the info....this little thing of a script did the trick for me and now it's running flawlessly....

PS Thank you JaF for all ur work

Thanks for the quick reply I was able to find out the problem with the NPC.  Despite using easyuo's last item and find item the NPC's ID wouldn't come up.  So i DLed a script that read it for me and I just input that into the script and BOOM.  Now it's working but I have one thing I may have to change again.  After dumping at the library when I get back to the house it's opening the wrong container and telling me I am out of resources.  It could be the way I have my chests stacked or it could be something that I have to change in the script I havent played with it enough to check yet.  But thanks for the help none the less.

I have a noob question or an issue rather.  I am attempting to use JaF's Slayer Book Maker 3.6.3 and am on an OSI server.  When i start the script i have 3 secures on steps and am using a bag in my pack as the trash container as per instructions.  I have changed the runebook IDs for home and library and there are only 2 runes in each book marked one spot from each other.  The issue that I am having is with the NPC info input.  This should be ridiculously easy for me to get but alas I'm not great with computers.

set %npc GBMRJ
gosub TM_AddUnderscore #CHARNAME
set %charname #RESULT

I am guessing that I have to make a minor change here but as I am looking into Easyuo I am unable to find NPC.  I am standing next to him dragging his bar off and dbl clicking him.  NPCs name is Travis.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks but the hands are the least of it ive already had spinal fusion knees elbow and shoulder done im just a mess but the hands are the killer.  Ive played a few MMOs including shadowbane and FFXi as well as ultima and EQ.  FFxi was horendous on the hands and the only thing i really use the scripting for is looting and crafting.  I dont vendor nor do i care to.  What i make stays with me and my friends and anyone who needs something theres so much going on in the game and Im a power player so things just tend to given away to friends like arties and minors and such.  But thats all off topic anyway.  Started to use a public vent to speak to friends rather than do all this typing in game.  Thanks for the warm welcome.

Thanks for the quick ADD.  Man i am sitting here reading these intros and going back over all the OLD memories does anyone remember the guy who did all the Fel cartoons?  Remy La'Beau or something like that?  And my word the fear factor coming from the pre-tram days.  Onw guy wrote in his intro that he recalls when he decided to fight instead of run and even though i am back after a while i can still recall all of that stuff.  There used to be a guild that ran on the Yew peninsula and they would rename all of the wolves so u never knew if they were coming in flagged from combat.  For the life of me i cant recall their guild tho.....and its driving me crazy.  *goes searching for the old Remy toons*

Thanks again!

My name is Jim and Ive been playing UO off and on since about a yr after it came out.  I play on the Chessy shard with chars named Flibbertigibbet (tamer/Disco), Yellowbeard (Thunter), and Brophy (bard/mage).  Those would be my 3 stand out chars.  Me n my friends primarily do peerless and we are looking to start some champ spawns.  We are also looking for people who are interested in joining us on hunts as well.  We typically play early evenings during the wekk and as much during the weekends as time and busy schedules will allow.

The wife and I started playing back in 98 or so and when trammel came out we left the game.  We arent into PvP at all but the fun had left the game and a lot of grief was going on that you couldnt fight back against due to trammie rules.  Funny now that we are back we only go there for crafting resources for double resources and never even run into anyone there (guess theyre all doing champs).

I am 36 yrs old and just came back to the game after about 3 yrs off (carpal tunnel surgery in both hands).  I have been playing video games since about 6 yrs old with my Atari 2600 (which i still own btw) and have damn near every console out since then.    I guess that about does it for my intro im gonna go read all the intros and see if theres anyone i recognize.  And if anyone is interested in hooking up for peerless or intro to the new stygian abyss content we are more than happy to accept the help/friendship.  We dont really use ICQ anymore but its 50214520.  I still turn it on every once in a while to hook up with people we are still meeting.

Cheers!
Jim
