Hello,
I recently came back to UO after a 11 year break. Nostalgia brought me back. Now I must admit... I'm addicted again. So many things changed and it's really fun to learn again. I play on Catskills.
I'm a 44 year old software developer. I've been off work for a few years now, getting a taste of retirement. I now understand why people get out of retirement to go back to work. Taking a break really changes one's perspective.
Since I love UO and programming, I figured that I might as well have fun combining both. I'm basically looking to see what's available around; I don't feel like reinventing the wheel. I saw also that we can do LUA scripting in Enhanced Client, that's another thing I want to look at.
When I was doing system administration and QA, I really enjoyed automating everything. I really like the satisfaction of writing a script and watching it do tedious work for me. I guess I'm lazy that way ;-)
