Scripting Chat / Re: Carpentry Training Scripts?
« on: May 18, 2013, 02:49:09 PM »
Well, I went and got a Scroll of Alacrity and went from 40-60 in 15 minutes, and since then I've let CEO's script run and Im approaching 92 as we speak and its only been about 2-2.5 hours, so I guess its doing alright now, I think it was just those first sets of boxes, It was taking a really long time to chop them after crafting so I think its worked itself out now.

Thank you very much though!

Scripting Chat / Carpentry Training Scripts?
« on: May 18, 2013, 11:44:44 AM »
Hi guys, I have been searching ALL over these boards for a Carpentry script and I cannot seem to find one, currently I am using CEO's carpentry trainer from the EUO library, but to be honest.. I am not a big fan of it, it claims to be fast and I have only gone from 33.2 to 40.1 in almost 40 minutes, and in my experience I could train MUCH faster than that manually.

If anyone has a lead on a good carpentry trainer I would LOVE to see it.

Thanks!

You guys are too funny.. Yeah, UO is pretty dead, but its a nice break from Mists of Grindaria, Also wouldn't say I am a "friend" of Gims, I only recognized the name from Askchopper, we used to frequent some of the same threads, although I have forgotten my login info for there so I had to make a new AC account :(

You should see this picture I have with my 3 sons and 1 daughter all farming herbs, leather and ore for me on WoW.. its pretty hilarious, I'll have to try and find it and let you guys see, they're all too wrapped up in that stupid minecraft game to do any farming for me though anymore >:(

New member introductions / HEY ALL!! ScriptUO Newcomer Here!!

Hi guys, my name is Drew.. I like to use the Alias Thunderwear, because I think its hilarious.. heh, I am 30 years old in real life and I have been playing MMO's for almost 15 years, obviously my first was UO, I loved the game for a long time, I have 6 children in real life so game time is limited, I quit UO for about 3 years while my wife and I played World of Warcraft, we sill play WoW frequently, but its starting to get quite boring so I recently reactivated some UO accounts, I used to think my accounts were "uber" but now I feel like a complete newbie again, I used to write some very easy EUO scripts, and modify some, my scripting knowledge is minimal but I love what it can do for the game, I am interested in joining this community because I really want to start playing UO again but my toons are so outdated and the monotony of getting them ready to be useable again is about enough to put me over the edge! LOL.. anyway, having 6 children, working full time, and going to school part time doesn't leave me much time to play, but still, I feel like MMO's have kept me out of some trouble in the past, and I've got a kick ass wife who likes playing them too, so I'm looking forward to showing her some of the fun times I've had on UO in the past.

I just noticed the name "Gimlet" as one of the online users and it made me forget to mention, I used to frequent the AskChopper boards a LOT and even got a couple private passwords in my day, I've been around a long time in the "shady corners" of the UO world, although I was never very chatty I guess you would say.

I was doing a little reading over the recommended introduction threads and it made me think of a few more things to write, Before I stopped playing UO 3 years ago I was never any good at PvP, and to be honest, Im still trying to pick up on the new PvM, but the main reason I came back to UO is because I have become quite the "elite" pvp'er on World of Warcraft and it made me wonder how the PvP scene is on UO, I play on the Catskills shard and the pvp is decent, although I'm trying to save up enough gold to buy transfer tokens for all my toons to head over to Atlantic, I've heard it holds most the old veteran players and a decent economy. I own a Keep a few screens from Yew Moongate in Tram which I placed just recently since I've come back, I had a Luna house just outside the walls before I left and I lost an entire set of phoenix, a ticket for a piece of phoenix as well as a full ringmail suit of coal armor, which totally bummed me out but since growing up a bit since I acquired those items I honestly don't really even care that I lost them anymore let along the slew of other stuff that went down with the house..

Well, I feel like I am rambling now and that everything I keep adding in is making my post seem sporadic and not very well written, but I am happy to introduce myself, I think the requirement to introduce yourself before being allowed to access some of the treasures on this site is a great idea and I think more sites should follow your example.

Thank you and I look forward to speaking with all of you for years to come!
