I'm playing on an OSI shard. I had a very similar problem with almost every script involving crafting/recall gumps. Haven't tried yours today, but another mining script and this one is working after I grabbed EUO + the script again and put the .mul files into the UO folder one more time. I assume your script would work for me aswell now.

The weirdest thing is how neos lumberjacker for some reason was the only script that would bruteforce it's way through the recalling, it always took a few dozen tries to recall but would work eventually. I don't even know how that's possible, but oh well.

I'm starting to feel like an idiot, because this script is not working for me either and I have absolutely no idea why. Latest EUO/UO Client version. Added the missing .mul files by using neos converter. At first I tried the setup with tinkering but the script will just open the tinkering menu, but never craft anything (ingots are provided and the script is getting them from the bank).
So I redid the setup without that; now it tries to recall but I'm getting the message 'I can't recall from that object' as if the script is trying to target a rune in the bagpack (it does open the runebook though).

I've read the last couple of pages but couldn't find a similar problem, does anybody have an idea why it's acting up for me?

Edit: Your instructions mention a runebook with 14 runes, but you can fit in 16 runes, is that just a typo? I haven't played in ages, has this been changed and is that why I might have some trouble with recalling in scripts?

Win 7 64bit. I redid the setup, this time using only 5 runes with a couple of tree each, and only one rune in recall book for the safe location. The script itselfs works great, but the recall doesn't. It will reopen the runebook over and over, sometimes starring at it for a couple of minutes and eventually figure out where to go.

If I recall manually it will immediately pathfind and pick up where it left off. I added the .mul files aswell to see if that would change anything, no luck though. Is there some kind of wait timer maybe, for stamina/mana? In any case, it mostly happens when the script says 'travelling back to last tree' and then it opens the runebook and stares at the frontpage; it's just bringing up the correct page.

Not getting more than 4-5k logs/hour because of this, it'd be awesome if you could find some solution for this. I did check the thread and people were talking about how the script is trying to go for scrolls instead of the spell but I suppose this has been fixed already, it wouldn't recall at all I guess if that were still an issue.

Ok, I found and fixed the first problem, for some reason my classic client had mixed languages, so the script couldn't find the proper journal message. I changed the language settings and know the script knows when to stop chopping; dumb user error on my part.

Recalling however is still pretty wonky. When I start the script nothing happens at first, it reopens the bag and runebook a couple of times, eventually I did recall after two or three minutes. Now my bag is full and the script tries to get to the bank. It did open the correct runebook, but again it just sits there not recalling for a couple of minutes. Same deal when it tries to leave the bank again, it's taking a few minutes before the actual recall happens.
In another thread I read something about how the runebook style has been changed and how you have to dump some older .mul files into your uo directory, is that needed for your script? Because everything seems to work fine now, except for proper recalling.

Edit: I forgot, using your 2.0 version of the script, playing on an OSI shard with the latest classic client and version of EUO.

Another edit: the script sometimes keep shouting bank over and over, even though it opened on the first try. Sometimes does it after it has dropped off the boards already. About the recalling, when I hit load setup, the dropdown menu for the travel method is blank, I always have to reselect recall here, everything else saves fine. Maybe that's why the script's having trouble with traveling?

Really nice setup, I'm having some odd problems though. At first the script would reopen my runebook over and over again, but would never actually recall. So I closed down EUO and started the script again. Loaded my setup, hit start. This time I recalled just fine, walked up to the first tree and started chopping.
However, my guy never stops, he just chops and chops, even if there's no more wood to be had at that tree. What am I missing here?

Oh I'm fine now, that happened a few weeks ago. I'm playing a few different templates on DF and Europa and I don't think that'll happen again (at least not on level 1).

Yep, earth elementals are still alive and kicking. First visit to Shame was less than successful though, because I had no idea the dungeon had been revamped. Promptly lost my corpse and most of my stuff, the insurance system was not around either the last time I played.

because I'm fairly bad at introducing myself, but here goes!

Anyways, UO was my first mmo way back in the day (ye olde times before highspeed connections were a thing and you'd block your phone while playing games) and I got hooked on it. My parents were less thrilled about it all, school suffered quite a bit and eventually (after 2 years) they pulled a 'as long as you're living under our roof you have to..' on me.

That was the harsh and quick end to my UO fun (mostly spent in PvM and later almost exclusively on Siege) and now I'm back at it, 12 years later. Which is kind of crazy if I think about, in all this time I've probably played more than a dozen of new mmos and now here I am; killing earth elementals in Shame.

Oddly enough, the very first person I've met in UO is playing with me, while I pretty much lost contact with 95% of the people I used to play every other mmo with. So yeah, UO is a special game for me and most people who still bother with it I guess.

Today I'm in my late twenties, about to finish up with university. And because I don't want to fail that as I did with school, I could use the (ehh help?!) of some scripts, gotta save some time afterall!

Well that's it from me, thanks for reading  :P
