You're a gamer like me it sounds like.  I'm just as happy playing the old ones as I am the new titles.

I like to complete Chrono Trigger and Zelda OoT at least once a year as they're two of my favorite games. There are some older titles I don't really enjoy anymore, though. And there are some titles I'd like to play again but never got around to it. I was gifted Morrowind on Steam several years back. I beat the game on the original Xbox but have yet to play it on PC. It's one of those games I'd like to revisit when I get a decent gaming PC. Some of the beefier mods out there available for Morrowind require a lot of processing power.

Howdy, denizens of ScriptUO.

I'm a fellow from Texas. I first started playing UO around 1998 or 99 and randomly chose Catskills. I have fond memories of the bone wall and Vesper PvP. The first guild I joined was I Kill You [IKY]. I was never really any good at PvP and just lucked into the guild after hunting with a friendly person in Despise. Perhaps the most devastating moment I ever had on OSI was when I returned home from my uncle's one day to find my account had been banned for three days. I had given my cousin my account information and he ended up creating a character named "Skull Crusher" or some such name and proceeded to harass a bunch of people by Britain bank.

I left Catskills/OSI shortly before publish 16 was released. After I departed from the Pay to Play servers I heard talk of free servers scattered about on the web. I had no clue what "Sphere" was. I bounced around from server to server trying to get back that feeling I had when I first started on Catskills. While that feeling never returned, I did find joy in a few servers. I met a lot of interesting people only to lose touch with them over the years.

Nowadays it seems like I just piddle around on my modded Xbox 360. I've put way too many hours into Skyrim and Fallout 3 & NV. I started playing some DOS games such as Monkey Island and Leisure Suit Larry. I gave Myst another try and I even ventured into Uru again. I'll eventually build a decent rig and get around to playing some of the newer titles I missed. I consider myself a very patient gamer.

It seems like every year or so I get the itch to play UO. Most of the time I just ignore the craving and move on. However, I finally bit the bullet and downloaded the client again. I always groan at the prospect of grinding a new character. I reckoned this time around I'd learn a few things to help make the process easier. That's what brought me to this site.

I simply want to get a character built and explore Britannia again. I've never been heavily into PvP. I've always been one to PvM and RP. I am not really sure how long I'll last this go around. Maybe I'll make it more than 3 months.

Can I have some free stuff now?
