New to this site but am a old scripter from 1999

Hey guys, I am new to the site after a long long hiatus during which I have started college to become a game maker!! I am taking classes at Collin Com College here in Texas!! I am learning alot and have actually used some of what I learned here to make some games in class. I am an artist that loves to 3D model, especially in ZBrush! I am taking classes recently on Java Scripting for the unity game engine. I am an old addict to UO, playing it since 1999 with a long vacation for 7 years until a few months ago.

I am wanting to get back into things and have a new account up and running but wanting to take some of the repetitive stuff out of the game and get back into scripting! Used to love making scripts and see them in action. Let me know if I can help in anyway and look forward to chatting and learning from you guys!!

Welcome to SUO! What are some of the things you like to do in game? It sounds like you are playing on official servers. What server do you play? What is your favorite template?

You have a nice start to a good intro, make sure to read some of the examples. Here is something from one of the mods on why SUO requires good intros.

Nice and interesting Intro. You have any of your work you care to share so we might see what you have been working with? I wrote a few games game in the late 80's and early 90's mostly in assembly. Later spent time make levels and graphic overlays for games like DOOM, wolfenstien 3D, and DukeNukem. At one point I even added a weapon graphic and new weapon slot for DOOM, but I digress I only have time now for work and family and a little left over for UO.

Ohh, I loved modifying those old games.  We had alot of fun with Duke Nukem levels and Doom modifications!
