Hey guys! I'm VFBA, I've come back to UO after 20 years! I was surprised to find my old chars, some with several hundred murder counts HEH. I remember back when housing had "keys" and your house would display "like new" if you where online. I would have my thief hidden by your door and as soon as you recalled in, poooof, I would snag your key and basically own the house, I admit this was a bad system (not for thieves) but it was a lot of fun, many many house fights. The game has changed so much and I am re-learning a lot. PVP was brutal, esp. when they had the stat loss system, a full gm red would go down to 70's skill after death, hah don't die, there was no insurance either. My best memory was the wands of DEATH, they where glitched wands waaaay back in the 2nd or 3rd year. wands had "harm" spell with no delay in casting, and harm was overpowered doing almost half your life in one hit...many died that day. so much fun before it was fixed. Lots to learn, excited to keep playing after so many years. cheers!
