I'm thinking the same thing. With all of the other things the can't or won't take the time to fix, they're going to put effort into reverting ecrus? I'm finding that a lil hard to swallow. They may make it impossible to make above 500 intensity rings, but I wouldn't be surprised if anything made before their supposed "fix" publish stays around until it wears out naturally.

But what do I know.

Just my 2 cents but knowing how things work and how little the programmers at mythic do know.  I find it hard to believe or swallow that they have any idea how to revert these back.  They might be able to clip the top end of the ecru off kind of like well if the property is 600 % then move the ep% down until it reaches 500%?!

remove enhance potions

or, they'll just snip off anything that is not craftable on an ecru citrine.  Some folks will end up with some decent ecrus, but they won't be anywhere as near overpowered.

If people can write scripts to populate search websites, it can't be hard to do a global search and replace if you have phenomenal cosmic power...and access to the server code...

You are correct Nobama.  But think real hard who we are talking about now mythic? The same ones that cant even fix some of the simpliest things in the game without messing something else up. So you might want to rethink that last statement.

Oh, don't mistake my meaning:  I didn't say they wouldn't screw something else up in the process, or flat out make the problem worse.  But they will wipe those rings out of pixelated existence.

Pity, really.  The stupid things will break eventually, so why not just halt the production of them?

I would more likey stand with the partially documented code.  IE Sub start server ; all this does something I will add that in before i quite this place yea right !!
