Okay, I'll bite.  How did this happen?

Granted, the ring is dreck...but I want to know how it got 6 properties.

Came from a Level 6 T-Map, if that matters.

They are probably trying to 1 up imbuing by making six add gear. Six adds can be gotten on a weapon with a val hammer, 6 adds can be gotten on special bows (Rangers lightbow) (( and I mean full adds for those of you who count 10 Swing speed as an add.... lame..... )

All chests contain gold, imbuing ingredients (major in level 2+, minor gems in all), a variety of armor pieces, jewelry and weapons and a chance of:

    * high property count items
    * alacrity scrolls,
    * decoration vines
    * tasty treats
    * recipes
    * another map (the same level or, rarely, one level higher)
    * a message in a bottle
    * special artifacts
          o Skeleton Key
          o ManaPhasing Orb
          o Surge Shield
          o Runed Sash of Warding (2 types)

from what I've heard, the 6-property jewels are turning up pretty junky, never above like 40% intensity on any mods

I got a ring with almost every bard properties, I was hopping it would let me alter the current Properties.. instead it just bitches and say's there are already to many properties to Imbue....

Seriously, right?  I'd like to see some loot table rule that, if 6 properties spawn, they need to unravel into at least a relic.  That way, it's not so bitter when you get the (almost guaranteed) piece of crap.

I agree, they think were gonna farm millions of Relics from these 6 property items... I got maybe 2 or 3 from a lvl 6 chest.. and I wasn't even paying that close attention....
