Crazy time intensifying idear!

So i got to thinking..  which is a rarity i would assume.  Anyways i was thinking that it would be nice to come up with a site that is dedicated to teaching scripting.  A flash program that goes through that basics up to advanced in a class type format.  It would be a lot of work but i could see where it could have its perks for people wanting to learn but don't understand as well by reading, but instead by someone talking and using a visual aid with it.

I know i am not one to do this, but i could see where it could be used in a scheme to gain money for that type of site.  I for one would pay $1.00 to learn to correctly script.

I do have a learning disability when it comes to being just written. I have to do it by trial and error or have someone talking with a visual aid for me to learn alot.  Just looking at someone else's script doesn't always click it in for me.

Checkout the java ranch concept, I posted about it a while back down under scripting languages or someplace. Very cool concept and easily ported to any language as long as there are people willing to keep it going.

That is a decent idea.  But i want it to be set lesson that goes through everything nitpicking everything as if i was someone in a special ed class.  I want to see them typing the code while explaining it.  Use SUO (if it be okayed by TM) and write it.  I think that would be quite nice.

I have seen a person's site where he teaches people how to play guitar.  Starts with the basics by having him talk and he has a guitar in hand.  You can hear him talk as he explains the guitar and it's features.  next lesson teaches the basics of the strings.  EADGBE and then ends it explaining chords.  Next lessons explains chords.

I want the format to go along that way using a video whether it be WMV, flash anything.  I just think it would help people with my dysfunctionality :)

Sounds like a good plan.  Nothing like audio/visuals for learning things like this.  :)

i just need to get the outline done and find someone with a cute voice that can talk and everything.  I definately don't have a cute voice and a slight speech impediment (slurred speech, can't hear well out of one ear, thank you army).  I would really like to do this so i will probably make UOGuyz this sort of community.  :)

Very cool idea, I think I would even force myself to sit through it just to see what you put together :)  Would be a pretty good experience I think.
