I had it all back in the day right before and around T2A.
Gold! A decent size guild all under my control. (We once titled someone 'PK Newbie Bait' That was fun! For us, not him) A giant guild house. And Moar!
Lost it all under various scheming and problem with keys. Anyone remember door keys? Arrrgh!
But sometime last year, after having quite enough money to easily have a couple of accounts I came back.
Ahhh the blues, the greens, the reds... Such wonderful colors UO always had. Inviting. Very inviting.
UO is definitely not what it was and is definitely a bit different now. But I find it is still fun. I had tried free servers before, but none
really grabbed me. No, I do still prefer the official shards. Pity the pvp is not really there anymore, and there seems to be little
for a thief toon. I loved playing a thief back in the day when people still needed regs, to chase after reds and steal their black pearl and
whatever else I could grab and alt-tab hide. Ahhh good days.
But to the future! I have never used scripting before, but in my older age it seems a few scripts might make my current life a little
easier. I am one of those that do prefer the enhanced client (feel free to shoot me now). Though I can see using the CC for a few
scripts here and there should be interesting to say the least.
So a big thank you to the admins, mods & other scripters on here for helping everyone out.
Did I mention, custom houses now are great. Imbuing! Sweet...
And on a personal note that has nothing to do with anything. Watch Babylon 5 from start to finish. IN ORDER. Most epic thing ever.
