Hey everyone! How are you?
I'm anoobis and I've been and on and off UO player since my teen years. Started at private shards such as ABC UO and moved on to OSI at SEs launch. I stayed there right until SAs released then I dropped it for good because I had just started uni. Honestly I was never a hardcore player and, up to this day, I consider myself kind of a noob when it comes to UO. I almost exclusively played with IRL friends so I can't even remember guildies from back then.
After I was done with uni I was mostly switching between FF, wow and GW2. Spending a few months on each, depending on the current content patch at the time. I still had fond memories of my time in UO but I just didn't have it in me to dedicate myself to the style of game anymore. That was until a few days ago when a friend of my casually mentioned he was playing on this low pop shard just to check on the new content. Curious about this new content I decided to read on it, and thats when I discovered masteries and the animal taming revamp. It instantly got me hooked and I just had to see it for myself.
So here I am again, been back to it for less than a week, but I'm loving every second. What they did to animal taming is amazing and I can't wait to try out all the other masteries as well. Also, as always I need a little help from macros and scripts to get my chars template to where I want. I've been using Razor Enhanced and really enjoying it, as I can handle myself with python scripts, but I also remembered using EUO back in the day.
Looking forward to not having to manually click trees to farm Ter Mur and maybe seeing ya'll in game.
