I think SA over all is not that bad so far too. As for the comment on 3rd party programs and speed hacking just think of TM's sig. The little picture is the Stratic's peeps and EA is dangling the carrot. Seems like every time the boards get restless they drop the 3rd party comment. People were blowing a nut about the layoff's so they mention the 3rd party "fix" they are looking into and people jump on the band wagon again.

I disagree!  GM's are more present now then they were 6 months ago.  Seems that with the new expansion they are trying a little harder then they were during Mondain's Legacy.  Trying to eliminate third party programs and other unattended macroing aids.  That coupled with a "new breed" of player who delights in paging on people they assume are macroing, like they are going to get some some sort-of EA GM Brownie points or a nice warm fuzzy feeling, that they did something right.  On the other hand, there are the ones who macro themselves and then go and page on other macroers to eliminate the competition.  This is the worst kind of person that UO can have!  It's okay for them to do it, but not for anyone else to do it.  Their attitude, "Hey, they are cutting into my revenue stream and causing my prices to be more competitive! " I loathe, despise, detest, and hate this breed of Macroer!

They understand what makes the game interesting and expanded on those concepts.   They reinvigorated the economy.  Killed a bunch of the heavy gold making things of the past and invented new ones while trying to keep them at a minimum.  Made a system that encourages burning up resources (gold sink) and keeps people from hoarding too much... brought people back to the game... yea big success for the new team for sure... but that new client is still a huge stinker. hah  I'd personally LOVE to see them do a new client that looks AND plays well... The outdated graphics are getting annoying.  Sheesh even just updating to Diablo 1 graphics level would be a huge improvement...

Whoa!  You are hoping that Electronic Arts can have as good as graphics as a first generation Blizzard Game?  In my opinion, that is expecting too much! 

Blizzard is 100 x better a company then EA will ever be and I don't even play WarCraft!

I remember a quote by the dev team years ago saying that improving the 2d graphics was a serious engineering problem... well GET TO IT.  sheesh hehe
